Cary Imps Fall in Cross Town Meet Against The Sea Lions of Scottish Hills

The summer swimming season is almost over, with the final meet happening next Tuesday night. However, the summer is never quite complete without a meet against cross town foes, Scottish Hills.

The Cary Imps didn’t prevail last night, falling to 2-3 for the season.

Yes, the kids are there to compete, and yes, the teams keep score. At the end of the day though, that’s not what this is about. It’s about the community, the friendships, and the life lessons.

It’s about seeing the little ones swim their first race, and get their first ribbon.

Pretty soon, the fun and games of patty cake and impromptu ice bucket challenges, will be over for the year.
