Last night was Cary Swim Club’s first swim meet of the 2019 season, hosting the Weatherstone Sharks from right down the road, in Cary. The weather was great, the burgers and dogs were grilling, and everyone in attendance experienced a great night of family fun!

As afternoon turned to night, it was clear the Sharks were too much for the Cary Imps to handle. That doesn’t mean there weren’t plenty of reasons to celebrate, for the home team. Swimming, while a team sport, is also very much an individual sport, with individual goals and achievements.

Here’s to a summer of swim! Cheers, tears, hugs, and ribbons.
